How I fixed Kodak EasyShare photo printer 300

I spent about an hour trying to print in frustration...why wouldnt the paper just feed in? Argh! Anyhow I figured it out! I opened the side door and took out the cartridge...somehow the ink sheets had progressed to the end, but I had 8 sheets of paper left...so what I did was I used a flat head screwdriver to loosen the rolls a little...they rolled by, clear, blue, red, yellow...note this is backwards of how they print...ah ha! Somehow it scrolled to the end. You have to unscrew a little bit on the one roller and wind in a little bit on the other roller at a time, but I was successful. You can keep going until you went too far, youll see that on the blue part there is a bit of image in there...then just repeat the same thing in the opposite direction til youre past the clear sheet and to the black lines just past the clear!

Woo hoo! Im printing again....
I am not good at fixing things but I figured this out all on my own :)

I would have just posted this on an online forum but I figured hey, this is the internet, it will show up if people search right?

Now I just have to figure out how to fix the quote key on my laptop...

You are a regular MacGyver!!!! It is a good feeling of accomplishment to fix something without spending hours on the phone to India. Go Jen!

Yes it was, it was especially triumphant b/c I didn't even attempt to call out for help as J wasn't home :)...It's so good to know I can do some things totally independant of help :)
