Merry Christmas!

Christmas carnage

Christmas carnage
For some reason the captain is always too sleepy to get up to open presents, so we opened them in bed. This is what remains of all of our gifts, including a gorgeous swarovski crystal snowflake, and my personal favorite, a wallet full of Mcdonalds gift cards!

The tree

Because we were so busy moving and seeing family, I didn't finish decorating the tree, I didn't put up my tinkerbell angel, but I did put up am ornament we received from my parents' neighbors as a wedding gift. It is now joined by the snowflake.

I need to get some of those stocking hangers! The captain decorated the mantle with cards we received. My mom hand made 3 of the 4 of these stockings. I'm so stoked to finally have a mantle piece to display them, I just ran out of time to get hangers, as in the past years I have used electrical wire and tin cans as weights to hang my stockings over the counter at my kitchen.

Keeping "warm", since it's electric, I didn't have the heat on.

Merry Christmas everyone!

Lol, is it weird that I love mcdonalds and have never had a filet o fish? Interestingly it is the sandwich my mom would always get when I was a kid and we went to get happy meals!

Those photos are gorgeous!! Christmas left a poinsettia at our apartment and hit your house like a hurricane! I thought you said you didn't finish decorating?! ;) You're inspiring me to post a Christmas entry too.. ♥

but I didn't finish decorating! The tree has no ornaments! But it didn't look half bad in the end!
