Furoshiki fun

Furoshiki

Furoshiki
This weekend I made two furoshiki, one is the large blue one in the background, and one if the red one tied into a purse. I also bought the hello kitty one at daiso on monday and it is holding my lunch. Furoshiki are square Japanese cloths that can be tied into just about anything, from a purse to giftwrap to a watermelon carrier. Stay tuned and I will include a few tutorials.

I've never seen these before so I am looking forward to the tutorial! BTW, I have that EXACT material framed in one of my guest bedrooms, the blue. So pretty.

I love that blue fabric. I first bought the red because it was less wild, but when I finished I thought grandmaesque...so then I went back and got the blue and I love it!

I love these!!! I tried learning this trick from my grandma, but mine always falls apart. Agreed, it is So handy for just about anything you want to carry around and the bonus is that it folds up tiny and stows away so easily!
