Good enough to eat!

This pattern is inspired by handmadekittyblog.blogspot.com/2010/04/onigiri-couple-ami...
I had trouble understanding how it was built so I used the rough measurements to make my own pattern and I also used her adorable face idea. Here's my version of the pattern
Red Heart Super Saver in white and black
2 9MM safety eyes
pink and black embroidery floss
D3 Crochet Hook

Rice
R1: Sc 2, sc 9 in second chain from hook, 2 sc in each sc (18)
R2: *sc 2, 2 sc in next sc* repeat 6 times (24)
R3: *sc 3, 2 sc in next sc* repeat 6 times (30)
R4-7: sc 30
R8: *sc 2 tog, sc in next 13 scs]* repeat 2 times (28)
R9: *sc 2 tog, sc in next 12 scs]* repeat 2 times (26)
R10: *sc 2 tog, sc in next 11 scs]* repeat 2 times (24)
R11: *sc 2 tog, sc in next 10scs]* repeat 2 times (22)
R12: *sc 2 tog, sc in next 19scs]* repeat 2 times (20)
Put in Safety eyes, embroider mouth, eyelashes and put in bow
Stuff firmly
R13: *sc 2 tog* repeat 5 times (10)
R14: *sc 2 tog* repeat until you have no loops to sc 2 tog, Bind off and weave in tail

Seaweed
R1: Chain 13, in 2nd sc from hook start sc 12
R2-6: Ch 1 turn Sc 12
Bind off, leave long tail for sewing to rice.
