Awesome Weekend!

I took a half day friday to meet up with some friends for lunch and was very pleasantly surprised by a tea at Mrs Burton's Tea Room in Old Town. Even though I've lived in San Diego for 6 years now, I still don't explore as much as I should. Heritage Park and the tea room were totally awesome. I will be going back there for sure! The saddest part is that I hear it may not last long if the city lets a hotel expand into that area with a b&b, so I want to go back to the tea room before it is no more.

After that I went to the Scrap Retreat House in French Valley. Totally awesome as well! I've never been to a retreat before, but this was a great get away. It was like a slumber party for adults, we stayed up late and even were pranked by a neighbor who oddly ding dong ditched us with an old smashed cake in a box...lol. We had a great time and I got 12 whole pages done. I think that is a new record for me!

I only wish I could have remembered my camera, but alas, I'll remember this quite well!

Awesome! If I were you I'd leave out the ones of Jessie and Billy...wouldn't want those floating around the internets!
