Isn't Memory Funny?

I was standing there using a glue stick to apply glue to a piece of chipboard and instantly I had a vision of a downstairs foyer. I was suddenly transported to a memory from childhood, sitting in my friend's house on the stairs, waiting for to go trick or treating. The odd part is that their house was exactly the same as my parents' house, so now as I try to recreate that memory, it's getting a bit mixed up with my memories of my parents' house. It's odd, I'm not sure why using a glue stick jarred that memory loose...isn't it funny how sometimes our brains just shake loose these old memories?

that has happened to me a few times. It is amazing what our brain stores. So, how was CHA? I want to see some pictures.

The brain is an amazing thing! I had not smelt playdough in years so when I got a whiff I was instantly taken back to my kindergarten class. That's so funny Jen. Speaking of Trick or Treating... time to think of costumes =).

Alison,
I'm not going to be home for Halloween, but maybe we can do an early costume party on the boat :)

...and yes I do use glue sticks...for some reason they're my favorite...I think it's because I have used them since I was a kid. My favorite are the rectangle ones :)
