Friends of skate world
I just searched my blog. I can't believe it but I may not have been to Skate World since 2008! I had read online that there is the threat of my favorite roller rink closing, so I made the captain take me for what may be the very last time. Well it was like going home. So many familiar faces...and I swear both Brett and Monty looked at us in disbelief, that we were finally back. It felt really good to go skate, familiar, and comforting. I felt that at sometimes I wasn't even thinking about it at all, it was like involuntary motion. Hopefully either the friends of Skate World petition will work, or we can at least keep going until it closes. I really missed this.
