Engaged!

I think the photo says it all, but I suppose I should give the run down of the evening. J had told me that he wanted to celebrate New Year's on his boat (like we always do) but this year he wanted decorate and take photos of us celebrating with his new camera. So on NYE we went down to the 99 cents store, CVS and finally Party City to look for decorations-all of which were sold out, and he had to go in by himself since we had the dog with us. We decorated the boat and then I got tired so I decided to take a nap, which for me seems to be an annual New Year's Eve tradition...I always fall asleep and don't make it until midnight.

It was about 11:30 when I finally woke up and we got ready, since he couldn't find any NYE party hats I made one for grommet out of brown paper, and suddenly it was minutes until midnight...J set up the camera and I started to count down...finally I started saying "Ten, Nine, Eight..."

He interrupted me and asked me to answer one question when the alarm for midnight went off...and of course my answer was yes...as most of you know him, you know that he did all of this so he could say he asked me in 2009 but I didn't respond until 2010.

Good thing I didn't stay sleeping this year!
